press pot substrates

F.-E. Typ Aussaat + Stecklinge

Fruhstorfer soils with high-quality volcanic clay: Nutrients are readily absorbed into the clay. The buffering effect of volcanic clay protects against damage from fluctuations in the pH-range and from the nutrient supply. Volcanic clay is stable as a topsoil, constantly delivers trace elements and gives the cultivation substrate the necessary richness. The clay is mixed intensively with peat during production and is combined to form stable compounds. However for lighter substrates there is a compression and thereby a loss when potting.
